WOF organizes annual fundraising events to benefit those in need regardless of race, creed, or language. The year 2022 is dedicated to Afghanistan, whose government was shut down by the Taliban on August 15, 2021. According to our survey, more than 50% of Afghans are displaced internally or migrated to foreign countries. Those who have been internally displaced face a lack of needs and most of them are in urgent need of help like food, shelter, and medical aid.
